Dr. Munishwara G.B. is an experienced ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with extensive clinical, surgical, teaching and academic experience. He has been in private ENT practice since 1997 and has served as a faculty member in the Department of ENT at Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, as well as having been associated with Shridevi Medical College and Hospital.
He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and subsequently pursued postgraduate training in ENT (MS) at T.N. Medical College, Mumbai. He has also obtained DNB and DORL qualifications and received advanced clinical exposure during his years of practice in Mumbai. Over the course of his career, Dr. Munishwara has treated more than one lakh patients and performed more than 6,000 surgical procedures. His areas of special clinical interest include Micro Ear Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Voice Surgery and Head & Neck Cancer Surgery.
He has been actively involved in medical education and professional training. For over a decade, he has served as faculty at the Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, Bengaluru, contributing to FESS and temporal bone dissection programmes. He has also participated as faculty in various surgical workshops and continuing medical education programmes, including FESS, temporal bone dissection and Endonasal DCR training.
Dr. Munishwara has presented and published his work in national medical forums, with five articles published in national journals. He regularly contributes health-related articles to Prajapragathi, particularly on ENT diseases and awareness. He has also conducted numerous free health camps and delivered health-awareness lectures for students, including programmes focused on cancer awareness and general health education.
He has attended numerous ENT conferences, workshops and advanced surgical training programmes across India, keeping abreast of developments in modern ENT diagnosis and surgery. He is also involved in fellowship training in Micro Ear Surgery and FESS, supporting the development of advanced ENT surgical skills among medical professionals.
Dr. Munishwara currently leads Ganadhal Ear, Nose, Throat & Dental Hospital, S.S. Puram, Tumkur, where he provides comprehensive ENT and Head & Neck care with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities.
